Lottery Results Are In!

The results are in!
The lottery for 2016-2017 seats in PGCPS Public Charter Schools has been held and the order of placements has been determined for all valid applications. 

To find the results of your lottery entry, enter your application identification number in the box on the charter school lottery website (  and click the “Search” button.  The application identification number was provided in the confirmation email you received when submitting your on-line application for the Public Charter Schools Lottery.

The search reflects the lottery results before any placements and will be updated after March 14th. After March 14, the results will be “live” and continuously updated to reflect acceptance or refusal of placement offers. You will be contacted via US Postal Mail or the email address provided in your application if a seat becomes available.

After the initial round of placements, you will be contacted by the appropriate charter school if a seat becomes available.

Placement and wait list letters will be mailed mid-week of February 22rd. If you have not heard anything about your placement status by March 14th, you can send an email to
